When I look in the mirror all I see is ugly, I feel disgusting all the time. I know that people (even myself) say that confidence is the most beautiful feature on someone.. But what if you don’t have confidence? I stand in front of the mirror turning every now and then to criticize myself from a different angle. I pinch the fat, pull at the skin and try to imagine myself as the person I want to be. I’ve never been the type of girl to try to be someone I’m not, but at this point anyone sounds better than me. <br/> Everyone is prettier, smarter, more attractive. I try to eat healthy and stay active but it’s hard when I’m even too embarrassed to go outside. I know it sounds a little ridiculous and dramatic, but imagine everyone else around you looking absolutely beautiful and you feel like the awkward, ugly duckling. It makes me want to cry all the time, but I just swallow the ball in my throat and try to hold my head up. <br/> People will always tell you that you’re pretty when you ask them. But it’s when you don’t ask them anything that the truth comes out. <br/> I can’t wear clothes baggy enough, tight enough, dull or bright enough to make me feel any better. I feel like no one wants me. I have thunder thighs, moles all over my body, a pointy nose, wrinkly monkey hands and I’m knock kneed. The thing I’ve struggled with the most is my weight, I’ve always felt like I got the “fat” gene…. Because I did. My other two sisters are as tiny as can be and cute as a button.
